Do I need to refrigerate the ice cream mix?
The ice cream mix does not need to be kept refrigerated before it's opened. However, we do recommend putting your ice cream mix in the fridge for 24 hours before use to ensure the pan stays colder for longer during use. Please refrigerate once opened. Get yours here.
Is your ice cream mix gluten free?
Can I use milk and cream, instead of your mix?
We have tried and tested a variety of options, but found our mix to be the best option to use for the most delicious experience. You can buy it on our shop! Get yours here.
How long does the plate last out of the freezer?
Once the plate is out of the freezer, you can make around 3-4 portions of ice cream rolls before it needs to go back in for 8 hours
How cold does my freezer need to be?
The ideal freezer temperature would be -13 degrees Fahrenheit.
Can I wash the plate with soap?
Yes, once you finish using your plate we recommend washing it with warm water and a gentle soap. Do not scratch or scrub the plate as this will damage the exterior.
How do I roll ice cream?
All of our top tips are in our instruction manual that comes with your kit. However for the best roll ensure your freezer is set to maximum cold (ideally - 13 degrees Fahrenheit). Leave your plate upside down in the freezer, for 24 hours. Refrigerate your ice cream mix for 24 hours before use and then ensure you have all of your ingredients out ready before taking your plate out of the freezer.

The DIY plate cannot be warmed or heated in any way.
